Our story

A family forge. Not a factory.

Roger, Walker and Wade Frink. A coal fire, an anvil, and a lot of hammer swings.

The smiths

Roger L. Frink, blacksmith.

Sioux Creek Forge is Roger L. Frink's blacksmith shop, run with Walker and Wade Frink. Everything we sell is heated in a coal forge and shaped by hand on the anvil — not stamped out in a factory.

You'll usually find us with the forge lit at the Bentonville Farmers Market and at festivals around Northwest Arkansas, hammering live while folks watch. Come ask questions. Bring the kids.

How it's made

From black iron to heirloom.

01 · Heat
Coal fire

Steel goes into the coal until it glows orange — hot enough to move like clay.

02 · Hammer
Shaped on the anvil

Drawn out, twisted, scrolled and textured by hand, one heat at a time.

03 · Finish
Made to last

Handles fitted, edges set, finished so it'll be around longer than any of us.
